Berlin is a city that has something for everyone from Legoland to the dome of the Reichstag. (Be sure to book your free admission a month in advance.) The trains are easy to ride to other cities as well. Overall Berlin is clean and we felt quite safe

Very busy city no matter where you go. Would not recommend driving, swarm of bicycles on the roads. Taxis and Ubers are affordable and reliable. Compared to Munich, Berlin feels more gritty with lots of graffiti. English is the dominant language

The rail system is incredible. You can get anywhere you need to without a car. The city is very clean. The people are lovely and so helpful. There was always someone to help with tickets at the rail station. The Big Red Bus provides great tours.

A great police presence wherever you went. Felt safe. Clean. Make sure you validate your travel ticket, we witnessed many people being fined even though they had purchased tickets but hadn't validated them out of lack of knowledge.

An exciting, vibrant city with so much to see and do. The transport system is extremely efficient and you can get around anywhere 24/7. The Berlin Welcome Card is well worthwhile and can be obtained when you arrive at the airport.

So much to see and do. If you're an architecture/design nerd then definitely check out Hansaviertal and anything Bauhaus. Also, make sure you have at least one dinner in an authentic German beer hall, nothing else compares!

Berlin is a very interesting city and easy to navigate via the subway, which is important to see east and west Berlin. Prices are very reasonable compared to most larger European cities...and especially compared to LA. :)

Berlin is a great place of you are a foodie with so many veggie or vegan options. The city is a mix of old and new, with great transport and plenty of places to visit with or without kids. It's great for a family trip.
"As an American visiting Berlin for the first time, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. The Titanic Gendarmenmarkt Hotel exceeded all expectations and was a safe, comfortable, amazing stay. I’m so grateful this was my introduction to Berlin. It truly made the trip unforgettable. I will be staying there again the next time I visit Germany. "
"This property was perfect. We were near several good restaurants and markets. A short walk away was many options for public transportation.
The hotel was beautiful. My son and I had 2 twin bed ands we had plenty of space.
The housekeeping by staff was amazing. I would stay here again."
"Excellent hotel, everyone we met was friendly & professional.
Great location, walkable to all major tourist sites & couple minutes walk from Fredrichstasse train station so very easy journey to/from airport.
We had family suite for 4 which suited us perfectly.
Lots of coffee shops & restaurants in the area, would highly recommend this hotel."
"I’ve always wanted to stay at this hotel because of its location to my family, but never have. This particular trip I absolutely needed to be next to Alexander plots for the convenience of my airplane departure, so I booked it here for three nights and it was absolutely perfect. I only needed a small room so the price was right. Staff was amazing with daily room cleaning to boot. Thank you so much for the great day. Would gladly recommend and do it again. Another one of the big draws, is that because you’re so close to the train station it makes it easy to get in and out, but the biggest plus was that you can get a Döner almost any time of the day. Perfect! A+."
"Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Walking distance to many attractions and the train station. They don’t clean the rooms but for just staying a couple of nights was OK."
