Better than average

My honest review, it was great for us. Benefit, large balcony with big windows, kitchenette and decent mattress. Convenient in and out of garage through 3rd floor. Plenty room in elevator for 2 mountain bikes. Needs improvement the balcony wasnt very clean, lots of flies. The view was obstructed due to hotel sitting in further from boardwalk. I absolutely would stay again, worth the very low rate

Satisfied

I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was nice. My room was clean and I just loved my view! To wake up to seeing the ocean and go to sleep watching the waves and the lights was just peaceful to me. The price was great especially around the time I went which was a holiday. Now my only complaint I would have is the parking goodness gracious when I say tight squeeze ugh. But definitely booking again my next visit.

Beautiful View, Updates Needed

The hotel lobby was nice, clean, and remodeled. They have coffee, tea, and lemonade all day. The staff was friendly and responsive. The indoor pool is on the small side but hey they have a pool. They have plenty of parking in the garage but it is a bit tight. The room we stayed in was in need of a remodeling. It was on the dark side and it was hard to tell how clean it was. The paint color was too dark as well as the carpets. The bed was comfortable but you could tell it was on the older side. The view was awesome and the balcony had ok chairs. The bathroom was a bit dated as well. The water pressures was good. I do not think we will stay here again. It just wasn't for us.

Absolutely horrible do not stay here

Terrible! First my key wont work for my room. My room was filthy, both beds broken and the door for the balcony would not shut. My second room the door handle for the balcony door the door handel wasnt even the right door handel and was to small so it wouldn't stay shut, dresser was broken, bed broken, dirty sheets and comforter. Went and told staff, she had us clean our own rooms, change oir own sheets and didnt give a clean comforter. One room was changed to another room which was filty as well with a broken bed and door would not lock to balcony. Front desk lady gave someone else a key to one of our rooms and they accesed it. Thankfully this guest realized the room was occupied and didnt steal anything and told the front desk it was to the wrong room. Had coach roaches in the halls and elevator. Cant reach a manager. Wont return pur calls. Just terrible all the way around. Shootings both nights we stayed on the board walk and the doors to the hotel anyone can go in and out of.

Everything was fine until Saturday night when the next room threw a party after11 pm and it was extremely noisy. not sure how the front desk clerk did not here it since this was first floor.

Pictures online did not reflect condition of hotel. Things were old and worn out. Rust on ac unit and bathroom in poor shape. You get what you pay for. Will not stay here again.

Disappointed

Stayed 2 nights for a little getaway. Checking in, the parking garage is really small (no lifted trucks, our stock truck barely made it). Lobby is clean, warm, and smells nice. Get to our room, and it wasn't stocked completely. The bathtub was SLICK when I got in. The mirror had what looked like mold (not sure what it was). Then the chair that is there had a giant, soaking wet stain. Nothing was leaking, and we didn't spill anything. Took a photo and showed front desk, they said they'd take care of it the next morning. I just asked to have it removed from the room, and nothing was ever done about it, and they NEVER contacted us the following day. There is no smoking, even on your balcony which is fine, but most of the hallways smelled like cigarettes anyways. $140 a night is blasphemous for what we received and unfortunately we will not be back. I have photos of everything but the Hotels app wont let me add them.

Birthday Weekend for my Lovey

It started with a huge mix up with the reservation. Hotels .com fixed it and gave me extra rewards points for the inconvenience. Additionally, the hotel front desk clerk , Mykia was an absolute jewel! I am a teacher and had a music program, so I couldn't check in until after 9 pm. Because of the mix up, she upgraded our room, which made our stay even better. A true value and I will be back!!!
