Hike the Pacific Crest Trail or cycle the Historic Columbia River Highway for breathtaking gorge views. Refuel with local brews and fresh-caught salmon at Thunder Island Brewing Co's riverside patio.
The little grocery store looks super sketchy, so if you need something go across the bridge to Stevenson and shop at A&J! Thunder Island Brewing has some really good food, including my favorite dessert: mango sticky rice! Also, ride The Sternwheeler!

"Don't miss a chance to stay here. This hotel is 100+ year old treasure. The room, bed, pillows, A/C and bathroom is everything you expect from a top level hotel. The architecture and the grounds and location are spectacular. We will definitely be going to stay here more in the future. "
"I was very comfortable. I had to buy a hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner because they don’t supply that anymore, also needed to ask for a room with a refrigerator as I was staying for 3 nights. Didn’t have a microwave though. "
"The manager (or owner) and his wife were extremely kind and helpful when we needed to adjust our reservation. They were great communicators and helped me get everything situated to make check in as smooth as possible. I will continue to stay there anytime I’m in town!"
