My favorite hotel in DC
I’ve stayed here several times before, and I will continue to stay here because it’s a we’ll- built, elegant, older hotel. See ice is very good at desk and cleaning staff- which is done daily unlike most hotels since the pandemic. Bed is very comfortable. Rooms are very quiet and darkening drapes make room dark- perfect for a good sleep. Towels are excellent quality. Good shower, pretty bathroom. Like having small frig and keurig in the room. Very good value

Much better places to stay for the price as I don’t believe this hotel should be a 4 star. Rooms are outdated and beds/pillows are uncomfortable! Bathrooms look like they are from the 80’s. For the money, go ahead and stay at the Ritz, Riggs, or Conrad!

Good place and great location
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were nice. The only minor issue during my stay was the noise from the street level. There was some kind of demonstration and/or fight in the park across the street that went to the late evening and early hours of the next morning, which kept me awake for a while.
