Budget friendly and comfy
The management was very friendly and courteous. The bed was very comfortable and room is outdated but clean and i had a nice view of the river. I recommend to stay here, if you are on a budget.

Clean and comfy, but needs repairs.
The Econo Lodge in Red Bluff was very clean! The maids are doing a great job. The maintenance guy needs to try a bit harder - my room had a number of small things that needed repair. The hotel was located right on Antelope Blvd very close to Denny's and walking distance to other restaurants. I felt safe here and the staff was courteous.

Check-in went okay, the lady was friendly. Once I was done checking in I went to my room and it was disgusting. The floor was sticky so when you walk your shoes would stick and make that gross sticking sound. The walls were dirty and you could see all of the dirt streaks on the walls and on the floor. The room also had a nasty smell, like a mix of smoke and mildew.

Pretty sure the rooms downstairs are smoking rooms. We are here in May so can have the window wide open, otherwise I would not be able to sleep. Good value for the price; just an overnight stop on a two-day drive. (The river walk is across the bridge.)

Pros: easy to find and friendly staff CONS: room was very dirty. stains everywhere: the floor, the walls, etc. the pillow had lipstick stains. I killed a few bugs. It was a non-smoking room yet it smelled like smoke and the bed had cigarette burns.

I will NEVER stay here again! Our 1st room had lights out. Second room smelled liked it hadn't been opened or used in awhile. I'm 5'4" tall and had to bend over to wash my hair in the shower. My husband said the showers camping were better. The towels were what we use as rags at home to clean with. Getting back to our room our Saturday, room hadn't been cleaned. After walking to the desk and asking for clean towels, I walked back to our room, I was followed by a drunk man. When I stay in Red Bluff again I will pay the extra $200 and stay at the Comfort Inn.
