Beware of Roaches at Hampton Inn-Collinsvillle
What started out as a good stay turned horrible. At 2am on our last night of our stay I awoke to see something climbing on the wall. Upon further inspection I saw it was a roach of some kind. I was unable to go back to sleep, due to fear of more bugs crawling on to us and in our things. I killed it and left it in a napkin in the bathroom sink. Upon checking out I explained our concern to the desk clerk who said that something like
That had never happened at their property before. I presented the napkin with the bug to her as proof of what it was. Her lack of concern made the experience even worse. She shrugged when I told her that I had a 5.5 hour drive home, with very little sleep. She offered to have the property manager contact us only after I asked. When I asked for his name she pointed to a rack with multiple cards and said “it’s right here hun”. I am a Hilton honors member and stay with them quite often. She even admonished me for the missing
Information the staff failed to collect at check in because I booked through a 3rd party and not directly with Hilton.we were there for a dance competition for my granddaughter and I refuse to stay at this property in the future.
