Nice room with heating and window, big bathroom, terasse and laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Staff very helpful, public parking just in front with few parking places, breakfasts with everything you need

Great location, friendly staff

Excellent location and very friendly staff. We spent two nights here to experience the Arctic region of Norway. While our conducted tour to the fjords was cancelled due to bad weather, it gave us the opportunity to enjoy the Paris of the north i.e., Tromso. Due to its central location we were able to walk to the Polaris Museum, the Radhus (Town Hall), the City Library, the Cathedral, and eat at some nice restaurants including the one in the hotel itself.

Great hotel! Breakfast was excellent with tons of options! Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, though, didn’t start until 8, which seemed late. It was located in the middle of town so everything was walkable. It was easy to get from the airport on the airport bus the hotel. The stop was across the street and catching the bus back to the airport was right outside the hotel. There were maps at the front desk to navigate around the town.

Very good location. Bus stop to the airport (8 min ride) right next to the hotel. The breakfast was good (salmon, lot of vegan stuff), but it was very busy with a lot of people and not so much space. The junior suite has a perfect view! On the last evening we saw the aurora directly from our window!

The room was nice and comfy (Junior Suite) and staff was friendly. Location of the hotel is very convenient. Just be careful on weekends if you are a light sleeper, even in 6th floor floor you could here the music from the night club in the hotel. Not super loud but maybe bothersome for some people.

Room was basic, shower only Luke warm, and needed updating, also not a very nice smell coming from the shower! Perfect location city centre and harbour, breakfast was good and staff friendly, wouldn’t stay again as can get cheaper rooms just around the corner.

I have stayed in many Scandics during the years and was very disappointed of the quality in this one. Room was very hot and humid, minibar was as night stand right by the bed. I booked separate beds but got double bed. Customer service was quite poor when complaining about the hot and humid room, just comment we are aware of that problem - nothing else, not even regretting. Not asking if you have Scandic membership card. Breakfast was excellent.
