we were told at check in the breakfast was amazing. we went to eat at 745 and all the cooked food was gone. i asked about the food, they were in no hurry to cook more. not my favorite place to stay.

NO ELEVATOR
Hotel didn't have an elevator. This should not be. Our parents had to have help getting up the stairs, not to mention their luggage.

Facility run down and in disrepair
Pool, hot tub and fitness room were closed. Drains were clogged and backed up in both the shower and sink. Breakfast items Eggs sausage potatoes were empty and there was no breakfast attendant. Carpet was dirty throughout and there were hairs and stains on the couch and cushions. And, the. ice machine was broken.

We could tell it was an older property but they have made upgrades to the facility to keep it more modern. Did not like that they did not have an elevator to the second floor (where we stayed). Would not recommend the second floor for elderly or people who have difficulty with stairs.

Traveling through for one night after leaving SD where we had an excellent experience at a Country Inn & Suites on Lacrosse St. @ I-90 in Rapid City. Needed an overnight stay on our way to Colorado Springs and thought we would stay with same chain in Sidney, NE. Front desk staff was very cordial but when we got to our first room, it appeared that the room was not cleaned thoroughly as there was one waste basket in the room that was full of trash and an empty, plastic shopping bag left on the counter. This made us wonder if the room had been cleaned at all or if the bed linens had even been changed. The in-room coffee maker was dusty and the water reservoir was filthy. Notified front desk staff who immediately provided us with a new upgraded room; however noticed similar issues in the new room. In-room coffee water reservoir was filthy and there were 2 old used tea bags in the slot for brewing left from a previous guest. There were 2 empty bathroom tissue rolls left on the dispensers with a roll of tissue paper sitting above on the bathroom sink counter. There was a plastic spoon left by a previous guest under the bathroom sink counter. I took pictures in case Choice Hotels is interested. These issues make you question if other typical expected cleaning and changing of fresh linens were completed. Would definitely not recommend this property to anyone and Choice Hotels should thoroughly investigate what they need to do at this location to bring it up to acceptable standards.

Not the best stay
Had a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom when we got there! The front desk clerk was very sweet but she walked to our room with us to make sure it was clean. Had already checked someone into a dirty room! Didn’t notice the towel until after she left— everything else appeared to have been cleaned. Carpets were very stained and dirty! Beds were ok! Breakfast was not bad — scrambled eggs, link sausage (cold) biscuits and gravy! We have stayed here numerous times while traveling and it just didn’t seem as clean and kept up! Not sure I will stay here again.
