Nice to walk along sea front or up on the cliffs. Life boat station on the end of the pier do a practise run out every Sunday morning, worth watching the boat coming or going! Several National Trust places around that are worth a visit.

Great range of shops and cafes, and an excellent bus service to Norwich and along the coast. Lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep, and everyone was very friendly.

The world changes so fast, but not in Cromer and the rest of the North Norfolk coast. It's just as it was when I was a child, and remains a favourite holiday location.

The beach was a quick drive or short walk from the hotel, many beaches within a short drive. Sheringham and Cromer a short drive away. The coastal path is also close by.

An interesting seaside town with a good beach- head East towards Overstrand. Apart from The Grove, Gibson's Bistro in Cromer is excellent.

Apart from Cromer itself Sheringham is very close as are a few National Trust Properties.
"Second time stay at this lovely hotel which is adjacent to Norwich Cathedral.
Great breakfast, pricey evening meals mitigated by two restaurants less than 3 minutes walk away.
Lots of stairs to contend with, visitors should be warned."
"I loved my stay, and it exceeded my expecations. The place is in a strange little back street which might look unpromising, but it's dead quiet and actually ideally placed just minutes from both the station and the cathedral. The place is very well kept, and simple but stylish. My appartment was like a Travelodge bed room and bathroom, but with a well-equipped kitchen and a living room thrown in too. The reception staff were all very pleasant and helpful and, overall, it was extremely good value for money. It would be my first choice on a return trip to the city."
"The hotel is a relaxing place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the restaurant was a pleasing place to eat. The food was excellent and plenty of dishes to choose from."
