"What a great experience! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and delicious food. The cats theme is charming and we loved being able to spend time with them. It was nice having a private onsen and since there are limited guests, we didn’t have to reserve and were able to bathe whenever we asked. I recommend staying more than one night, and wish the trip were longer. Thank you for the beautiful stay! "

and dinner were a phenomenon. Everyone was kind and accommodating. We also got free milk in the morning that we could take, free boiled eggs, sweet potatoes, and popcorn by the fire at night. We loved our experience. Highly recommended. "

"The two of us stayed at ryokan Reimei at the end of March and we booked the reimei room with an open bath. We had the best experience ever. We could go in for a dip whenever we felt like it. The shower is on the outside with the open bath and the coldness of the weather wasn’t a problem for us since the water of the shower was quite warm and you jump into the onsen right after… (I see lots of comments complaining about that). I choose the Japanese style room with a mountain view and had a relaxing time soaking at the onsen. They had 3 different area of public bath and I enjoyed the rooftop onsen the most, I even woke up at 6.30am to catch the sunrise with Mount Yufu.
The lounge area is so aesthetically pleasing, really calms your soul and allows you to chill and unwind.
