As an area of greater SLC, Midvale isn't a problem, there are good places to eat not too expensive, it is centrally located with freeways and access to skiing, they even have a Sprouts! Immediately around QI the area is not so great, vagrants, etc.

I am somewhat familiar with Midvale, but I was treated so well, I may never return, on account of keeping that trip forever dear to my experience of a place that is completely underrated, as far as Utah townships are concerned. Kudos, Midvale. May yo

Midvale was great, lots of shops and everything you need in a close proximity.
"Just did a review when we stayed night before departure. Large parking lot extended parking does have a fee which is cheaper than the airport plus using their shuttle service is great. Staff is always great, fantastic check in cookies😁, bar and restaurant. Always stay here when flying"
