Learn more about Albany

Albany is well-known for its attractions such as Wolf River Marina and Grider Hill. The city has something for everyone including sights like Dale Hollow Reservoir and Cumberland River within a rural setting.

The Cumberland Gap area is an absolutely Beautiful area. It is rolling hills mixed with horse farms. It is the foothills of the Smokies. the roads go along some of the old trails laid out. Driving past Lake Cumberland gives you the feel of deep wood in the Smokies, and still be on the foothills. There is old growth everywhere. I have not been here in the fall, but if you want to see the Smokies during the height of fall color, I would highly recommend this area, I am going to come back in october. With all of the old growth in the area, the hills and fields, and the roads I can not see how this would be anything one of the best ways to see the color and culture of the Smokies.
