"This hotel has the best position. Our room has a great view. It is clean, spacious and functional. We really enjoyed walking on the beach to see Haystack Rock during sunrise. The beach looked like a mirror with low tide. If we come back to Cannon Beach, Tolovana Inn will definitely be our first choice. The only problem is that it doesn't have its own restaurant, so we had to go to downtown for food. But it is OK with only a few minutes driving."

"We stayed at Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock in early October for my birthday, and it was nothing short of magical. The weather gave us perfect fall temperatures, and from the moment we checked in (online and super simple!), everything felt welcoming and easy. Clear directions and signage made finding the unit a breeze, and assigned parking meant we just pulled in and relaxed. Walking into the unit, we were greeted with how clean the unit was — fresh-smelling, spotless, and clearly well cared for. The layout was so cozy and well thought out, with everything we needed to feel at home—and then that view. Our picture window framed the coast and Haystack Rock so perfectly, it looked like a living postcard. Thoughtful touches like boot brushes outside the door (much needed after beach walks!) and a curated info packet inside with must-visit places—like Mo’s, where I fell in love with their clam chowder—made our stay even more enjoyable. The wildlife is fun to spot (though they do what wildlife do, and leave a few “reminders”), but the Sea Sprite team kept things tidy. The location is ideal—quiet and peaceful, but just a short drive to town shops and restaurants. I would stay here over and over and over again. If you're even thinking of booking—do it. It’s cozy, scenic, and unforgettable. Just don’t blame me when you never want to leave."

"I never write reviews, in the 10+ yrs I’ve been booking with Expedia, this is my first. If like the rest of us, you’ve felt like customer service in general and people’s pride in their work suddenly took a nose dive after the pandemic, you will be pleasantly surprised by the staff at this property! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The property itself is in excellent condition and is clean and well maintained. We brought our dog and often times find these rooms smell of urine, but our room was spic and span. The front office staff greet you with freshly baked cookies at check in (which are unlimited- what?!?) the grounds have wild bunnies running around, hotel lobby well stocked with an excellent movie selection, there are chairs and towels for the beach, room well equipped with a keurig and pods, etc. Many excellent food options within walking distance and the entrance to the beach is about a 3-5 minute walk. If you’re on the fence, just book it. This place is well worth the money!!!!"
