"This Fairmont is certainly up to the standard of the other Fairmont properties we have stayed in. We had the great fortune to utilize the Gold features of the hotel which gives the traveler a luxury experience. The service was spot-on and the breakfast was fabulous. The fitness center is large and very well equipped, although early in the day it can be a bit crowded. The pool is very nice with excellent service and a nice array of food & beverages. There is really only 1 issue at the pool - the music constantly carries a heavy disco beat which can be distracting if you are looking for a peaceful day at the pool. One word of caution to travelers, there is extensive construction all around this property due to the rebuilding of the convention center. It has no bearing at all on this beautiful hotel, but can be a bit distracting in respect to Uber pickups and noise. "
