It was a decent stay, comfort and food options around the hotel were amazing. Parking is not on site however, you do receive a discounted rate for staying at the hotel. I’m a frequent stay at the Springhill Suites so I guess my expectations are higher. My only issue this stay was a lingering smell of smoke or gas and whomever was assigned to clean or room left a dirty cleaning rag on the sink that I had to remove as pictured below. All in all I recommend the stay despite this minor discrepancy.

Stayed here last night with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day. She was literally half naked when we heard someone coming in the room. She ran to the bathroom and I started walking towards the door. It was an employee and all she said was “oh when did you check in?”. She didn’t even have the decency to apologize for just barging in like that. My girlfriend was really upset so we called the front desk. They said they would get me another room and call back. I didn’t receive a call. She felt really uncomfortable for most of the night and we left first thing in the morning. The location was great if you go up a few blocks. The block that the hotel is on was a little sketchy. The rooms are clean but they’re small. Not a problem though, it is NYC. The problem is there’s no comforters on the bed and we had to call front desk three times before getting one. There’a a refrigerator in the room, so that’s nice but there was no “complimentary water” that they advertise. Breakfast consisted of an orange, yogurt, a granola bar, and a small water so again false advertisement with the “breakfast buffet”. I understand that it has to be on the go because of COVID but it could have been a little better than that. We grabbed the breakfast at 6:30am and left. Definitely will not be staying another night because the service sucks and apparently they don’t care if they make their guests feel uncomfortable.

Only the location is great.The breakfast options were very disappointing.Infact we had an issue with our TV it stopped working in the middle of the night and was fixed next day afternoon.We had come for a staycation but the experience was not at all fun.Even the elevators were always full, 20 mins was the wait time.I would definitely not book this hotel in future.

The moment you enter the lobby it smell like weed. They claim to be a smoke free hotel but my room smelled like weed everyday. I had to get someone to come and spray the room every night. Also, the area didn't feel safe at all.

Rooms are quite small but comfortable. No microwave in the room, but there is one available in the lobby. Hotel is two blocks from Penn Station, very central location. The area is more deserted at night than it used to be (lots of boarded up shop fronts and empty offices) so exercise caution when walking to and from the hotel at night. Security guard in the lobby, you must show room key to access the elevators. There is free wifi with options for (paid) upgrade to faster comnections, the basic one worked fine for me. Didn't need to stream anything since Netflix and Youtube are pre- installed apps on the TV, liked that a lot. This hotel was an excelle t deal for the $68 I paid on hotels.com, wd def recommend even up to the $100 level for the location.

Not sure was the had going in the low floors but from floor 3 to 12, 2 security guards per floor per every night we stayed. They put us on the 18th floor lots of noise from ppl. In front of hotel ppl smoking and drinking. If you ask me they renting lower floors for extended stay. I also noticed lots of ppl using a side door with security checking them in.

The room was nice, not that big as others Fairfield hotels I’ve stayed, mainly because the closet was really small, but it was nice and clean. The hotel was really closed to most of the tourists attractions in Manhattan (Empire State, Edge, Times Square, etc.) but the block of the hotel was not nice. There were people selling drugs near the door of the hotel when we arrived that made us feel a bit uncomfortable, even the Uber driver told us to be safe because that block was not good. Overall, the hotel was good, clean, and good location, and $63 per night in Manhattan is a good deal.

Rooms are clean and well done. They gave us an upgrade when we arrived.

Great stay,enjoyed the two day's alone time with my wife.
