This property is beautiful....The pool area offers spectacular views of the countryside. I truly loved the place, even aside from the mosquitos but I will state I was disappointed with the amenities. I think this location is great if you’re someone who will not leave your room your whole stay (and with a nice pool I can see why...) but otherwise the place is inaccessible. No drivers can come down to your villa because it’s on a tiny walking street, so you’ll have to meet them... it’s completely out of the way of Ubud & other activities... but the problem is online drivers do not go to that area, so you will have to arrange with the owner a “day driver” if you want to do any activities. There’s no restaurants/stores/spas nearby aside from ONE hotel’s facilities That the Manager recommended “Santi Mándala” because the owners are friends... but you might as well stay at Mandala because at least then those restaurants/spas will give you a discount for their overpriced menu... daily activities and Mandala also offers daily free shuttle since they KNOW they’re out of the way. Overall the room was GORGEOUS, the manager gave us a mosquito repellant plug in which helped a lot with bug issues for the bedroom (though the other rooms did still harbor many bugs), but all in all I feel like it costs more than double compared to many other places and yet it was out of the way. We also realized that the manager has to sleep under the front desk... which is uncomfortable and cruel in the heat
