The perfect base to explore the Yorkshire Coast.

Quite apart from the spectacular rooms and hotel in general, the absolute sheer glee of being hosted by someone who loves meeting wollw, and makes an ASTONISHING fried slice made this an absolutely gleeful base to do the Yorkshire coast from. Stay here, Filey is a small town, but The Bank bar is just great and everything you'd want get to (says a Yorkshireman) is an easy, no traffic 45 mins away. Rooms are great, breakfast end-to-end is marvellous and you genuinely won't find better value for excellence in that part of the world.

Had a comfortable stay. The owners were really friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The cooked breakfast was very nice. The hotel is dog friendly. There's no parking (on street 1st come 1st served) It's on the higher end of price (£175 for B&B and a couple of glasses of wine) but we enjoyed our stay. Happy to recommend them.

The hotel was comfortable enough, had a lovely big room, Poplar Forest and some really nice furniture, lamps, lights , sofas etc….Lady that run the hotel was lovely, helpful and friendly and cooked. Really nice breakfast. The biggest thing missing for us were that there was no bar set up to go and have a drink of an evening in the hotel or a tea or coffee. Therefore felt the pricing of this hotel, more like a bed and breakfast was very over priced.
