Uncomfortable…

The bed is so uncomfortable and in broken condition. The noise is too loud over the entire night

Really nice experience and friendly staff! Will definitely be staying here again. The bath house was very clean also!
1-night trip

6/10 Good

It was not actually inside nature. It is located by the highway (and it is blocked by the mountain on the other side) and all night cars are passing by. So it feels that you are sleeping by the highway inside a tent. So much noise. Also, the wooden beds sound horrible. Any movement and then the sound is worst than the highway noise!

Cool location and cool atmosphere.

The yurts were comfortable and the staff was super friendly. It’d be a great place to go with friends, family or solo.

8/10 Very good

Very cozy and cute! The only thing is i wish there was more lights provided. We brought a few of our own but a small lamp or some other type of lighting would be nice!
Katie L, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

This property is not as described. Next to freeway. Very small. Does not actually offer "adventures" but contracts with local companies. Actual property is very small. Property is an eye sore, which was surprising considering the beauty of the environment around it.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The yurt was so cute and I loved it. The only thing was the heater in the Yurt would not turn on. Not sure if we were doing it wrong but we tried for ever because it was a colder night. I was prepared and brought up extra blankets. I will come back again for sure!!!!

Yurt living

Pretty loud with the highway right near by. Yurt living is interesting and the property is pretty.

6/10 Good

The property was a little unkept. A little messy. I wish there was a couple power stations to power the cell phone.
Jacqueline, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It’s the best place for kids, exploring, touching nature and sleep!
2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Pros + Beautiful property + Easy check-in + Easy to find + Affordable yurt lodgining Cons + The yurt "patio" is small so you cannot gather around or relax near your lodging and there are no tables/chairs outdoors to soak in the ambiance. + Right off the highway so it's loud at night
4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We stayed during the coronavirus outbreak so the Loveland Ski Area closed down. The hosts of our yurt were very accommodating.

Very nice people at check in was the easiest check in ever friendly n clean
Carrie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

These yurts and cabins are situated in a beautiful setting, right in the canyon. It's very scenic, and you get to hike on trails to your yurt or cabin as there isn't driving or parking access. There is a neat little bar and deck where you can have a local beer after your adventures. Everyone was very friendly. We arrived a few minutes before the 4pm check in and were told that our yurt wasn't ready yet. We had to wait for about 40 minutes before we could get checked in. If you stay here in the fall be sure to bring extra bedding since the night will be COLD and they may not have put the heaters in the yurt yet. Also bring earplugs because I-70 is just a few yards away and traffic runs day and night. It's kind of a trade-off: affordable and in a beautiful setting, but not well temperature controlled and very noisy.

Good personal communication, but a site map for after-hours check in on the website would have been very helpful.
1-night trip

The idea is very neat, however the property needs a little TLC. The mattress pads and pillows themselves were stained and dirty. (I was a bit concerned about bed bugs.) The rug had pet hair all over it and behind/under the bed had not been swept recently. The area is very scenic with a beautiful river running right by it. Idaho Springs has great dining and cute shops to stroll through. At Lawson Adventures, the workers were very kind and friendly. If the housekeeping/cleaning end of the business were improved, this would be a great place to stay!
