"The host is a fantastic person. We were kind of lost, instead of the guesthouse we were at the apartments and fortunately we met the host at the apartments. She took us to the guesthouse - driving alongside us, provided us with food items and her daughter-in-law provided with list of place to see. Rooms were great. Best part was the cleanliness. We were provided with house slippers. There were 2 dogs that were friendly and greeted the visitors..fantastic and loved it a lot. Thanks!"

"We stayed in four hotels during our trip to Iceland and this by far was the best! We had a two bedroom, two bathroom house with a hot tub. The house was very new and we had a ton of space. The kitchen was great and both bathrooms were large. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback to this property is the location. There is a restaurant and mini-mart about 10 minutes away, but Selfoss is about a 20 minute drive. "

Helena was very attentive and responsive and even gave us a tour of the farm, introducing us to her very friendly, adorable goats and of course the barn cat that looks after them :-)"

Management and housekeeping staff were very helpful and cooperative. We stayed for 5 days and in the middle, we had to transition from Booking to Expedia. Upon calling the management they made it seamless, and we did not have to switch rooms!
Downsides: despite high quality Nespresso coffee pods, no sugar or milk! And no tea bags either!...

"Modern hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Large room, bathroom had separate bath and shower. Buffet breakfast had an excellent selection to choose from. It is a little further from the centre of town though and sadly, at the moment, right next to a construction site (not a lot the hotel can do about that, though)"

"It’s a Pod Hotel. I loved it. I chose the upper berth, clean, safe, really cute with a hot tub on the roof and kitchen amenities (shared refrigerator, microwave, George Foreman grill, plus beer and wine for sale). The staff can recommend great outings for every price range, including a $6 USD public bathing spot and a nearby park with waterfalls. The excellent and centrally located. "

"We recently stayed at this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and modern the entire place was. Our room was comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day.
One of the highlights was the breakfast, it was fantastic! There was an incredible amount of choice, with plenty of options hot and cold and items available to order from your table.
However, the main thing that made our stay so memorable was the staff. They were absolutely exceptional. Every single team member we interacted with went above and beyond to make our stay special. It was the many small, thoughtful touches that really stood out, making us and our family feel incredibly welcome and valued.
If you're looking for a hotel with great facilities, comfortable rooms, a wonderful breakfast, and world class customer service, this is the place to stay. We will definitely be back!"
