10/10 Exceptional

This is our second stay at this property. The staff is nice and the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of all tourist attractions. Public transportation is right outside the door. Request a room with a view of the water. The decor in the rooms is a little worn, but the view makes up for it. It would be nice if they put a few chairs and a little on the balcony to truly enjoy the outdoor space.

6/10 Good

This hotel is in a great location and you can probably overlook how dated it is if you have a room with a balcony with a view of the water. The rooms are good size but the layout of our room (802) was a little odd. There is a large room but the bed was pushed into a corner. Breakfast was served in a beautiful arrangement. I had the Western style breakfast and my husband had the Japanese breakfast. The Western breakfast came with the same selection both days we stayed, including a soupy, but just runny, egg dish that was inedible. You can probably overlook the eggs because the view is spectacular. The restaurant staff was nice, friendly, and efficient. Overall, the staff speaks very little English. The rooms really need to be updated.
