The receptionist was fighting with her boyfriend and she kept leaving the front desk so we barely saw her.. ask for the remote to our room 3 times… keys were sent through a code on an app… the keys on the app never work… and the receptionist kept trying to give us multiple room keys…every time she saw us she would say she had our keys and we kept reminding her we picked up our keys hours ago… by HER!!

I wish I would have known that this hotel opetated the way it did prior to booking. No one worked at the front counter, everything was remote. Our remote key didn't work for the building, no one answered the phone during guest hours, communication was often via text with no responses. We were charged more than we were quoted. Other guests had the same complaints. Only plus was that the room was nice but the entire stay from check-in to check out was stressful. I do not recommend this hotel.

This place is awful- DO NOT STAY HERE! no front desk staff. Zero hospitality in the hospitality industry. Tv didn’t work no reply to that ever. Had to give my cc number to an anonymous website was charged nearly $200 (although I paid though Hotels.com) no explanation given. Had to download an app for front door and room key. Front door was broken the whole stay. No do not disturb sign so someone kept coming into my room unwanted everyday. Loud party neighborhood. This place was a nightmare.

After booking six months in advance, the hotel cancelled my reservation the night before. No reason given. Even hotel.com was never informed. I was still getting welcome to check-in and thanks for staying we us notices. With no staff at the hotel and the phone number just ringing and ringing, I was stranded in Chicago. I booked into downtown and the Uber cost alone to wrigley for two days was in the hundreds. No exclamation ever given.

room was nice, and quiet. Check in was interesting, but figured it out. The three people in the lobby did not, and asked me a ton of questions and help, which I was happy to help.

I was told my room was ready and when I went to drop off my bags the bed was unmade like someone just got out of it there were towels on the floor in the bathroom, and the toilet was left used. Would have expected some sort of accommodation as this is not what you expect when the hotel is close to $500 a night

Unfortunately we didn’t read previous reviews before booking our stay here. We booked based off location (which is great) and aesthetics (the hotel is nicely furnished and decorated0. That’s where the positives end. We did not realize that there would be no one on-site to check us in until we received a text message two days before explaining that we would need to do contactless check in via our phones. This was not an easy task. We ended up having to download an app on our phone to then upload a digital “key”. When we would text support with questions there was often a long delay before our questions were answered. Upon arrival we were beyond disappointed to find that there was no parking. We ended up parking in a garage a block down (that cost $100 for overnight parking) and had to lug our luggage down the sidewalk to the hotel. There was (at times) one girl at the front desk however the front door to the hotel remained locked, and you had to hope that your key worked and allowed you entry. We did not spend much time in the hotel, as we were there for a cubbies game and flew out early the next morning. When we got ready to depart, the elevator wouldn’t work, so that was icing on the cake. Save your time and energy and find another hotel that has staff on site and working elevators. For what we paid, this did not come close to meeting our expectations. We will not be returning.

Great time in Chicago for a weekend of Cubs baseball. The location of this hotel was great and within walking distance of all things fun. We also parked in an overnight garage near the hotel that was also super convenient. The hotel itself was very cool and clean. Had a great baseball theme as was well taken care of. 10/10 will go back next time I’m in Chicago.
