I would strongly caution anyone considering this property.
The most concerning issue occurred when a complete stranger entered our unit at night using a key after we had already checked in. We later learned this individual had stayed in the unit previously, but the fact remains that someone who was not authorized to access our accommodation was able to walk directly into our rental. This was a major security failure and left us feeling unsafe for the remainder of our stay.
Unfortunately, this was not an isolated concern. The front entrance to the building was frequently left open, creating additional security issues. Throughout the night there was also persistent screaming, shouting, and banging around the building, making it difficult to sleep and contributing to an environment that did not feel safe or secure.
As a result of these issues, we made the decision to leave one night early and did not stay in the unit for the final night of our reservation. We raised our concerns with both the property and Expedia and requested a partial refund for the unused night. Despite the clear safety concerns and the fact that we vacated the property early, our refund request was denied and the host was not supportive and defensive.
The apartment itself may look appealing in the photos, but guest safety and security should be the absolute minimum standard for any accommodation. In our experience, this property failed to provide that standard. Further, it stank of mould and was wet air
