I am sympathetic that there is a shortage of staff and workers all around, which makes it hard to be critical. But, the room clearly had not been cleaned for a long, long time. Questionable stains on the arm of the chair. Wads of dust, bugs, hair in every nook and corner of my room. Multiple types and color of hair so you know it was several people. My room had an orange stain on the floor next to bed. The console on my TV had multiple spots where drinks, food had been sitting. I could not find the TV remote and it was behind the headboard and it was in a pile of dust. The floor of the shower was starting to take on a gray tint - leading me to believe it had not been scrubbed. I usually have great experiences at Hilton hotels, but this was not a good experience. I was a bit surprised by the uncleanliness given the newness of the hotel.
