Great hotel, excellent price

The hotel is new clean and has all the amenities you will need. It is in a quite area close to a walkable plaza by the creeks edge near restaurants and stores. The hotel is simple and stylish, trendy with a homey atmosphere and the the hotel is very good value. The metro is about a 10 minute walk away, easily connected to the rest of Dubai.

The hotel itself was very nice- clean, modern, comfortable, decent breakfast, and a very convenient location. However, the service was truly awful! We waited behind a single guest for more than 30 minutes to check in, only to have the hotel staff allow another guest's male tour guide to cut in front of our all female party to check in at the last minute. We also didn't get put into the correct category of room and our room was not prepared for the correct number of guests, which the hotel addressed by bringing in a cot more than an hour after our check in. We had several additional issues with getting staff to help us with simple requests over the course of our trip- things like helping us buy tickets for shows, etc. Several times the staff prioritized addressing requests from male guests even though the staff were in the process of (poorly) assisting us. I'd recommend skipping this place unless and until the staff are replaced with more competent individuals.

Check in was a bit slow as staff seemed new and learning the system. Hotel was fine, designt was bit on the college dorm feeling. Will be intreasting to see how they maintain the upkeep as some of the firnishing used seemed like mostly flemsy plastic. Would stay again but checking reviews as the property ages.

It was an excellent hotel - modern and funky style-wise, comfortable rooms with good facilities, and the staff both at reception, and the coffee shop were outstanding. For this quality, the price is an absolute bargain - especially in Dubai which is a rather expensive city. I stayed in other hotels, that were more expensive in the area, and in no way matched up to Zabeel MINI.

First time stay. Totally impressed with the whole experience. Large comfortable room with terrific shower. Delicious eating options. Relaxing pool area. Friendly and very helpful staff. Will definitely choose to stay here again.
