Other than the building exterior being beautiful and modern, the "Universal hotel" experience was very dull and unappealing. The lobby is extraordinarily dull. The room my wife and I got in the 7th floor was tight, dull and weirdly set up. They have tablets instead of remote controls in the room, but, an idea that on paper may sound exciting, it really is silly. The tablet is too heavy to handle for the simplest of tasks and stops working for no reason. It makes you miss the good-old-reliable remote control when you just want turn the volume up or else. The parking garage and the fitness center were very good. Service overall was good. The pool was fine. Breakfast was just ok. Location is a plus, but I know that, for sure, for the price I would have had a better experience somewhere else. I won't come back and would not recommend it.
