Lean was a great host. The place was clean and a great place to stay for a short trip. It was an excellent price, as well.

OK Stay
The "hotel" is part of big residential building and is not a stand alone hotel, we didn't realize that when we booked. It took a while to get checked in because the front desk had to call the attendant. The toliet seat was broken and the walls had several marks/scratches so we made sure to let the attendant know that it wasn't us because they require 2000 peso deposit in cash. Overall the room was spacious and clean, under the sink and mold/mildew smell where the trashcan is located.
The wifi quit working in the morning and the attendant insisted on ordering me a grab car. I told him to make sure the driver had change for 1000 pesos because that is all I had. When I arrived at the airport, the driver told me she had no change and was trying to extort me out of money, it was a mess.

Das Hotel ist kaum zu finden da es kein Schild oder Wegweiser zum Hotel gibt. Es befindet sich in einem von 3 Hochhäusern die alle drei den selben Namen tragen und in dem auch andere Zimmer die sonst vermietet werden sind. Die am Eingang stehenden securitys hatten ebenfalls keine Ahnung davon. Es gibt keine Rezeption und bei der Abreise muss man im Zimmer warten bis jemand kommt um das Zimmer "abzunehmen". Ebenfalls wird bei Anreise eine Kaution in bar verlangt obwohl das gesamte Zimmer schon bezahlt wurde. Die Klimaanlage war höllisch laut und direkt über dem Bett montiert. Die Klimaanlage auszuschalten und das Fenster zu öffnen ist keine Option wegen der Hitze und dem Strassenlärm.
Eine Zimmerreinigung kostet pro Tag 500php extra!
Das Zimmer verfügte über eine kleine Kochnische mit Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher.
Das Zimmer war halbwegs sauber aber nichts besonderes. Der Pool wird nicht vom "Hotel" verwaltet sondern vom Gebäudemanagement und es kann sein das einem der Zugang verwehrt wird. Da das Hotel auf den Bildern mit dem Pool wirbt war das besonders enttäuschend. Alles in allem würde ich es nicht mehr buchen dafür gibt es in Manila bessere und vorallem richtige Hotels.

Pretty good.
Everything was pretty good. The pool was great. My only complaints are the loose toilet seat, where I had to tighten the nuts underneath, the broken toilet seat cover, no toiletry shelf above the sink, the pillows were lumpy & too thin for us, & a very limited array of cable channels on TV. Other than that, it was pretty good. We would choose to stay there again.

Change your towels
This time was in 27f and it's much cleaner and doesn't smell bad. However, the towels are still very filthy.

Needs improvement
Having stayed in beacon many times before, this time I stayed for 6 nights and my room wasn't cleaned once. As usual, towels are always dirty. Please fix bad smells in some rooms, yes there's air freshener but, that smells like fennel in public stay.

I made a complaint 6 months ago about the bathroom fan not working, shower door handle missing, bathroom sink shelf leaning forward, cockroavhes under the sink, less than 1 roll of toilet paper, and having to constantly unplug and replug the cable box to make it work.
Obviously, they ignored my complaints of Room 4102 because everything was the same as it was 6 months ago.

It took too long time until the check-in.

I’m writing to commend you on the great service, price and quality of the room that I had at the Beacon Hotel from Dec 28-30, 2018. There were a couple of minor issues namely two lights were burnt out and the faucet on the bathroom sink needed tightening. I contacted Zyra. She did an exceptional job getting the work done in a timely manner. In addition, she checked me in and did an exception job there as well. I loved the condo and will try to rent there again if its available when I come. I’d also recommend you promote Zyra as soon as possible. I’m in the real estate business in the US and she has exceptional skills.

Cero organización por parte del personal
Tras reservar a través de Hotels.com recibimos un correo del hotel solicitando que le enviáramos la copia de los pasaportes para que nos hicieran un pase personalizado. Nunca nos dieron tal pase y tuvimos que enviarle por whatsapp de nuevo la información. Al llegar solo había una toalla para dos personas. No había ni toalla de manos en el baño ni artículos de aseo personal tal y como anuncian al reservar la habitación. Tuvimos que pedirlas y estar pendientes de que vinieran a traerlas. Al llegar, se suponía que nos iban a acompañar a la habitación pero no pudieron porque tenían otro cliente esperando. La zona está bien, rodeada de restaurantes y cerca de locales para tomar algo.
