Even though it was an older bldg, when you walked in and down the halls it smelled very clean and fresh. There’s a few small maintenance issues that need to be addressed— like the ice machine on my floor didn’t work, and also I couldn’t find a remote for the TV. But other than that it was a good stay.

They have Texas shaped waffles to start your day. You get Texas waffles in Texas. Gets no better. If you're staying in San Marcos and like Texas waffles and a clean hotel this place is for you. Front desk super friendly.
