Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely big room with nice view. Great location for us - just a short walk to the port but nice and quiet. Right next to path up to the main town (steep walk). Very nice pool with lots of sunbeds. Breakfast was spoiled by a lot of flies and wasps. Overall, very good and we would return.

Terrible and scamming service!!!

Our stay at kritiakas was met with a bitter end. From the beginning we were treated with poor service and lied to from checkin. Within 48hrs of our arrival, we were informed that the breakfast service was at no additional cost to us and was part of our booking. At the point of checkout, we were then confronted with a bill of over 150€... the staff claiming that we owed this and we were the ones at fault for not carefully knowing our own booking, when we were the ones that asked them and they would not own up to their fault in advising us wrong. After trying to discuss the problem, they threatened to call the police on us and blamed us for misunderstanding. (Eleni) was the front end staff we dealt with. We are extremely disappointed with the service and handled with a VERY unprofessional manner. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Gem in Ios

Let’s start from the welcoming video, amazing staff and amazing location. The room was just refurnished and everything was perfect from the swimming pool sunset view to the super greek shampoo. They also gave us a small chocolate bar at check out! What a great service! Highly recommended

The hotel was lovely with a great location five minute walk from the port. The rooms were very nice with kitchens, sitting rooms and terrace with a great view! There are a lot of steps as the hotel is built on the side of the hill and not always someone to help you with your bags but otherwise very nice and with a nice breakfast.

Value Hotel in Good Location

The folks were kind and very polite. This hotel did not have any frills or wow factors, but did include some patio seating on the terrace. It was in a good location we could either walk down to the ferry port or go up the stairs to shops and restaurants. We rented an ATV at the port and visited Manganari Beach. The only con I had was the shower size. It is so small, and we kept running into the wall, faucet or curtain. I would stay here again because it was in walking distance of food and ferry port. If you want to party we recommend staying in Milopothas. This hotel is not in a party zone and you can hear the cars driving by since it’s on an intersection.
