Lovely accommodations close to Piazza Duomo and Piazza Archimedes on the island of Ortigia in Siracusa . Excellent staff and a delicious breakfast.

A beautiful place right in the heart of Ortigia. We stayed in room 301 which was extremely spacious with a large sofa and a little balcony overlooking the bustling via Cavour. The room was beautifully decorated incorporating the ancient and modern. Great comfy beds, high quality linens, great shower. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

Room 102. We were not told of the building works opposite which meant we could not open our window or shutters for the whole stay. The kitchen staff kept us awake playing loud music until the early hours of the morning. We will not be back

Don’s miss Siracuss, don’t miss Palazzo Gilistro
Palazzo Gilistro has a great location in central Ortigia, the original island of Siracusa. It’s within walking distance of everything on the island from Greek temple and fountain remains through baroque churches (one made from a Greek temple) to museums to excellent restaurants. The archeological museum and Greek theatre are a taxi ride away and the taxi stand is nearby. The proprietors are super friendly, helpful, and informative. The breakfast is substantial. The wifi is fast. In short, an excellent place to stay in a city that is itself a work of art.

A great little find!
The location couldn’t be better. You are no more than 10 minutes walk from anywhere on Ortigia. Got a great welcome went we arrived. Stayed in the top room which for a few euros more is well worth it, great balcony overlooking the coming and going on the street below and nice view to the west for sunset.

Ótima localização, no coração da Ilha de Ortigia. Quarto amplo, limpo e camas confortáveis. Café da manhã incluso. Pouca variedade mas produtos frescos e de qualidade. Vale muito a pena.
