Nice staff. Can't walk in the beach into Puerto Morales because of the port. You either have to bike or drive in on a dark slightly dangerous road (risk of getting hit by a car). The beach in front of the hotel was so-so. They have a common kitchen area which was super nice. Breakfast is from 8-10 and they don't really make any exceptions if you have to leave earlier. The fridge and kitchen is open 7a-10p and again they make no exceptions if you need to get stuff out of the fridge before or after that. The room was nice, had a bed that was suspended on ropes! Nice bathroom. Spacious rooms.

It was a Great hotel to relax in a peaceful setting. Dont miss out on this hidden gem.

Very cozy & rustic (in a nice way) loft. Room was clean and spacious. Loved that the location was very isolated & no people around (except for the ones at the hotel). They have a kitchen and in the mornings, the ladies put out everything from fruits, yogurt, cereals, eggs, oranges & the squeezer for you to prepare & cook (they wash the dishes). They also have a refrigerator where you can bring and leave your food in in case you want to bring bacon or other goods. I've stayed in many properties in Puerto Morelos, this was a one of a kind. It is a little distance from town (about 1/2+ mile or so) they do lend you for free bicycles, which most hotels do not. When the time comes, more likely I will be staying at this hotel again.

One of a kind hotel breakfasts is social and you can prepare it by yourself with the advantage of not cleaning anything afterward. The room is beautiful with a big terrace and very quite and relaxing although it is little away from the town but in 5 to 10 minutes you’re there

Rancho Sak-Ol, despite the funny name, was a hidden gem. The upstairs room was clean and simple. Guests need to come up front to the beachside pulapa for breakfast, which was awesome, and to see the beach which is essentially private as it is a long way from Pto. Morelos and the big resorts to the south. The sargassum was bad and the water unswimmable due to rocks and weeds. Lots of bikes to borrow and you can ride them on the beach in Pto. Morelos. I would stay here again.

What a gem!!! Secluded, so you have to take a taxi or one of the bicycles. I will DEFINITELY return to this property!! LOVED IT!!

Great place to retreat and enjoy the ocean. Listening to the waves all night. Wonderful room with breakfast and use of huge kitchen

Very unique hotel. Extremely clean and quiet. If you are looking for a luxury resort with a ton of amenities this is not the place for you. However, this IS the place for you if you want a comfortable, secure spot right on the beach to relax and use as a home base for exploring the area that has everything you need: a large, very clean and well-equipped kitchen at your disposal with breakfast food provided, bikes for getting around (a super fast and easy ride into town), beach gear (towels, water shoes, snorkel equipment), helpful staff, clotheslines to hang wet towels and bathing suits, and a great common area with useful items like sunscreen, aloe, travel guides, and books. The beach at the hotel isn't a great place to swim, as it's rocky and there was a lot of seaweed. But there was a great breeze so it was comfortable to sit seaside without overheating. There is a swimming beach in town. Also, as with any tropical location, you might encounter bugs or other critters even indoors. We had no trouble with mosquitoes. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to my adventurous friends.

Endroit tranquille Ns avons été surclassé 2 jours suite à un pb de clim pour ceux qui peuvent n hésitez pas à vous prendre la suite super les autres chambres sont bien aussi prêt de velo pour aller en ville à 6 7 mn personnel sympa et attentionnè bon petit dej plage nettoyé ts les jours mais pas facile de se baigner à cause des rochers Ns recommandons

Vi bodde här de sista 4 nätterna av vår Mexikoresa och gillade verkligen detta stället. Det låg på stranden och vi hade viss havsutsikt från vår altan där vi låg i hängmattorna och lyssnade på havets brus, syrsor och andra mystiska djurläte.Det växte träd och buskar som gav skön skugga och vi fick se väldigt många ödlor i olika storlekar, fåglar och tom en ekorre. Det var verkligen en mkt avkopplande miljö och ville man ta sig in till centrum för att bada eller äta fick man låna cyklar och lås. Det fanns också snorkel+ cyklop till utlåning om man ville snorkla , stranden utanför boendet var perfekt för snorkling men inte för vanligt bad utan då var det fina stränder i centrum som gällde. Det tog ca 10 minuter att cykla in , och ca 30 min att gå. Vårt rum låg på andra våningen och hade en säng som hängde i rep, kul grej och vi sov som stockar i den. Frukosten bestod bl a av toast, youghurt, flingor, frukter och det fanns färska ägg som man kunde steka, koka eller fixa omelett av. Man kunde även pressa apelinjuice. Frukostutsikten var enorm, man kunde sitta både inne och ute och på 2:a våningen var utsikten som sagt magisk. Personalen var verkligen trevlig och tillmötesgående och det var god stämning över huvudtaget. Detta är en verklig pärla, lite utanför Puerto Moreles och om vi åker tillbaka är detta boendet ett självklart val.
