This was my first visit to St Croix and this Inn. It turned out to be located in a more rural city right on the water with more than just tourist swarming it. There is a pier that cruise ships dock at right out front of the building. When no ship is in the pier is excellent snorkel and scuba spot. the pylons and the long length and gentle descent are perfect for reef creatures. they flock here to that pier area. For food I learned that the high end trendy small portion places were way pricey. Albas was a great family oriented local place providing absolutely delicious cruzan cuisine and big portions at really fair prices breakfast lunch and dinner. The Inn on Strand has you and your needs in hand......basic fair priced island living.

This is my 2nd time to stay at the Inn and will definitely return whenever I visit St. Croix!!! It was easy to book the room we wanted and received a warm welcome upon arrival. John and Roxy are wonderful! They are very kind, welcoming and treated us like family! We were treated with respect and John and Roxy are exceptionally accommodating and made sure my stay was the best! Steve, security was always monitoring the Inn and we felt very safe. The rooms are clean and the environment healthy. We were provided with fresh linen and towels always and upon request. We had a balcony with a door wall leading to a beautiful ocean side view. The pricing is very reasonable if not more for the rooms and service provided. The Inn is right in Fredreriksted and food and shopping within walking distance. They have a beautiful courtyard with a restaurant that serves homemade breakfast cooked by local residents and also a huge balcony with a grill available for guest use. 'm giving the Inn on Strand Street a 5/5 star rating and will stay here again in our next trip! Absolutely love the staff and relaxing environment!!!
