We arranged for late arrival and Chuck was waiting and ready for us. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and bright. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. Before we headed out for dinner in downtown Bath, Chuck gave us some advice on what to expect at various establishments and gave us a map of the city. Downtown Bath, which was a few walkable blocks away, was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was excellent. Yogurt, blueberries, hot scones, hot buttered toast and eggs with flavorful additions, such as pesto. All six of the guests who chose the 8 am seating (and were appropriately spaces around a large table) enjoyed the entire breakfast and chose to take the remaining scones to snack on. We enjoyed talking to Chuck and Jude before leaving. They are excellent hosts. We highly recommend the Middle Street Inn.
