An excellent experience

The hotel and Bar which displaying signs of the Olde Worlde were nevertheless excellent for us. Clean premises, friendly and very helpful Staff and reasonably priced. We also like the surrounding area of cobbled street and since the premises was fronting on to the River Severn the view was just excellent. Siting outside the Pub alongside the River made for a very pleasant stay on a hot summers evening. Would like to stay there should we happen to be in the district again.

Happy stay.

This a very welcoming establishment and all members of staff were very friendly. I would be happy to stay here again. The bed and room were very comfortable and clean. The food for dinner was good although we booked for breakfast later than others and some food had been kept warm a little longer than ideal and was overcooked and a little dry.

Road Trip with Nanna Bett

We had an incredible welcome upon our arrival the staff couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately we were late arriving so missed the evening meal socaouldnt comment on the food. We all slept lovely comfy beds really quiet and the sound of the birds in the morning was lovely. Breakfast was just enough and not overpriced. Beautiful views of the river severn would definitely recommend 👍

Lovely place to stay with really pleasant staff who could not do more for you. The food was great and the cosy pub atmosphere made us feel very welcome. Even the dog was made a fuss of.

Solo traveler

Such a warm and friendly welcome for a solo traveler. Shown to my room which had great facilities if you require disabled facilities. Explained the key requirements for room access. The room was comfortable and extra heaters provided for a warm and cosy stay in such an old beautiful building. Unfortunately due to the current atmospherics of the weather conditions, provided limited viewing of TV for my stay. A well cooked full English breakfast in the cosy bar settings certainly helped me on my travels. A lovely little gem.

Disappointed

VERY disappointed firstly it states on the hotels.com site that there is onsite parking for £6.50 (NO ONSITE PARKING WHATSOEVER) Attic room was shocking TV wouldnt connect to any channels Bed was VERY low to the ground Pillows were as flat as a tod very cold in the room.....the window had been left open and it was minus 4 outside.....so i had to turn the radiator up to full and use a heater to warm the room however.....the young girl behind the bar was very helpful

broken in vehicle

accomodation was ok but slightly upset when returning to my parked vehicle at 5.30am, to find it had been broken into along with another vehicle and tools stolen. slightly changed our thoughts on the area and surroundings of where this hotel is.
