First, they didn't have our reservation which we booked through hotels.com in January 4 months prior to our need. They stated that there was 1 room available for the night we checked in but not for our 2nd, 3rd and 4th nights. They offered us the use of a camper about 8 miles from town; given that we were there with family members for a reunion, this was unacceptable. They then offered to move the camper to the hotel but the only water would come from a garden hose. When presented with the hotel room confirmation from Jan. showing our reservation, they stated they'd call Hotels.com to find out what happened to our reservation. That doesn't help us, which I explained. We suggested they call the last person to book the last room just a few days prior and offer them the RV. In the end, we were able to stay. It was hit or miss whether or not we had hot water when we needed it. The bricks surrounding the grassy courtyard were loose, a definite safety problem. On check out we were warned by other non-family guests to check our bill for double billing. Sure enough, they overcharged us the first night we were there, and attempted to charge us the inflated rate the other three nights. It took over an hour to fix that When we got home & checked the credit card, they didn't credit the 1st nights higher rate. We stayed 4 nights and got charged for 5. We called them and were told they'd remove the charge; it has not yet been removed.
