銀閣寺青年旅舍

In and out buses to get to the temples and Gion festival but ok for a hostel and friendly enough. Self check-in was a bit weird.

Location far away from Kyoto Station but if you use one day bus pass then no probelem.

The place is really small with thin walls/floors. The guests next door have kids running around till mid night so we couldn't sleep. Location is not good. The only interesting things nearby are the Ginkakuji castle and the Philosopher's path. Everything else is located at least 4 km away or 30 mins away by bus. (They have rental bikes and free wifi) There are rules sticking everywhere in the house. Which makes you feel unwelcome.

海外の方々が多く、多国籍でアットホームな雰囲気でした。価格も手頃だし、リビングでくつろげば海外ステイの気分が味わえますよ。

교통편은 좋았지만... 집 상태가 너무 낡고 남자 냄새가 심하게 납니다. 관리가 너무 엉망이에요

An acequible option in Kyoto, good location, parking available (aditional cost) and very confortable futons. I only suggest change the air filters in the shower and kitchen zone because they look a little dirty.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix. L'équipe est sympathique, les sanitaires sont très propres. L'hôtel est un peu excentré mais le quartier est intéressant avec notamment le temple Ginkakuji et le sentier de la philosophie à proximité. Un arrêt de bus à deux pas facilite les déplacements. Notre chambre était assez petite, mais malgré tout propre et fonctionnelle. Du café, du thé ainsi que le nécessaire de cuisine sont mis gracieusement à disposition des clients. possibilité de louer des vélos à un prix très correct.
