We were the only guests in the hotel for the first of two nights of our stay. Although the promotional material stated there would be breakfast provided, the owner/operator apparently slept in and a maintenance worker had to call them to come to the hotel to prepare breakfast, which only consisted of coffee, some fruit and yogurt. The cottage in which we stayed requires renovation and electrical work (one of the outlets did not work). The security chain on the door was installed upside-down, which negates the utility of having a chain in the first place. The staff were obviously having difficulty keeping up with the demands of a hotel at what is a major tourist destination in this region, but I presume that as the season progresses they will hire more staff. The hotel needs some serious work though, to be more competitive with other hotels in the area.

Hotel qui a connu de meilleurs jours. L'endroit est magnifique, la vue sur le fleuve de notre unité était incroyable. Mais tout a vieilli et est un peu à l'abandon.

Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Je n’ai pas séjourné à cet hôtel car tout était terrible, odeur malsaine, chambre insalubre, bref rien de bon. De plus, le propriétaire a refusé de me rembourser le montant de 115.70$ disant de le réclamer à vous Expédia Je vous demande donc de me rembourser et de ne plus offrir cet hôtel dans votre liste. Place was very old looked a little run down considering their front property sign looked brand new we were expecting something different but really it was clean and cute. We were greeted with friendly staff and our plans changed and they were very accommodating and gave us the best deal for our stay. You have to remember that this property doesn’t run during winter months is what we were told. The island was beautiful and I am happy we chose this property to stay.

The place is very quiet and natural. The breakfast was included and it was healthy. I liked that auberge and I can recommend it for people who like to stay a night or more in the island.

Out of 2 rooms I booked one was really good and nice but the second room was full of mold smell all over the room. Next day morning we had to check out early but there was no one in the office to check me out. It was closed and finally I had to leave the key on a window.

Très beau paysage, à couper le souffle. État des lieux assez désuet, petit déjeuner basic. Mais pour le prix dans les alentours, le traversier gratuit, l’hébergement vaut la peine.

This property needs major renovations. Looks like a 1970s room. Smelled moldy. The room had no A/C. Thank God for the portable fan. We had the continental breakfast which was decent. The price was too much for what we got. It did the trick for one night but don’t know if we would go back. Motel Leclerc looked much nicer.
