It would have been a good stay except for... I walked in on the housekeeper going through my things. When I walked in she was shocked. She was trying to deny it. Saying she thought I was in a different bed and pointed to a random one with nothing on it. My bed had personal items on it, so it was obvious I was using it. She tried to "make" my bed by pulling up the blanket (extremely badly) over things I had on my bed and nothing else. I yelled at her to get out. Which she did, but she didn't even close the door. I quickly went through my things. I was missing the money I had on my bed. A 10 mil Colones note. On check out, I told the person at the front desk, but all they said was "I'll talk to her. Happy New Rear." A very disappoint response. No apology or attempt to make it better.
Aside from the staff, the room was stuffy and smelly with no air flow or air conditioning. But it was clean and the breakfast was fine. I liked the entertainment area. Overall, stay somewhere else.
