My room was very clean and comfortable; I give it that much. However, the volume on the TV went up and down in volume every few minutes, and I had to readjust with the remote back and forth. Annoying.
The clerk tried to reassure me that this motel was safe, but I wasn't sure, after seeing some of the clientele. A man behind the counter had on a T-shirt with profanity on the front in big letters--not reassuring, not professional. He wasn't the clerk but didn't represent the motel well.
The clerk said they did not allow locals to stay at the motel to prevent drug dealers and users, but two of the vehicles parked near my room all night long had Claiborne County tags, where the motel is.
