Very interesting hotel

Nice hotel, exceptional service. Food for both lunch and dinner was very good. Nice breakfast but chaotic, not enough tables, staff serve coffee, which means you wait and only one man on the egg station. Roof top bar and pool are great. Art work round the hotel is interesting. Disappointed we got a room on the ground floor with balcony which looked onto a brick wall.

Clean hotel in the heart of Sanur. Wonderful staff, comfortable bed. Great breakfast buffet. Close to restaurants. Arranged an airport shuttle for us and took that worry away. We wish we had stayed in Sanur longer.

Great hotel could not fault anything

The Artotel was just great from the moment we arrived were greeted by friendly helpful staff on reception. The rooms were lovely a really good size and very clean, all areas of the hotel were spotless really staff were cleaning from first thing on a morning till night. Great breakfast every morning plenty of choice, lovely pool and bar on the hotel roof nice place to chill out. great location too lots of shops bars and restaurants all round the hotel and just a short walk to the beach we will certainly stay here again

Central hotel close to the beach!

Nice and clean hotel with amazing staff, I stayed here with my wife from friday 2025-04-11 to sunday 2025-05-04. Breakfast buffet was amazing and the hotel was nice and clean. The food itself was a mix between Balinese and western food and the desert choice was truly amazing with the best donuts I have ever had in any hotel. Room service is available and the prices are ok for room service food. There were 2 elevators when I was there that quickly got you to the top floor and they always smelled nice. The famous ice cream place Massimo was only a 2 minute walk from here and there is also a nice sushi place called Akari Japanese Cuisine just below the hotel. There are places for laundry and small supermarkets close by aswell. The beach is only a 5-10 minute walk depending on what part of the beach you like but the beach walk is massive and have plenty of nice coffee shops and restaurants. A couple of things bothered us while stayed here though and that was the sound from the nearby neighbors, one of them had a dog tied up that couldn't move and was barkning constantly from morning til night. Some events were very load in the hotel aswell and made us want to get out because the sound was unbarable. I do think the sound isolation could be alot better and hope that they look into a solution for this in the future. So my only complaint is that it can be very noisy both inside the hotel and outside the hotel, other than that I would say I loved my room with wifi, smart tv.

Beautiful property. Lush with greenery. Beautiful breakfast area and nice breakfast. Stayed one night but can see it’s within walking distance to many nice shops and modern looking restaurants. Did not like that you can hear children, footsteps, work, trucks at night. Earplugs help.

The staff could not do enough for us, they where always friendly and always seemed to be cleaning the hotel. Was noisy with doors closing through our the night waking myself and baby, maybe some rubber stoppers be fitted to prevent this.

Ok for the price

The hotel looks nice and has most amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there were a bit too many negative things with the stay. Bed sheets had stains, even after they were changed. The breakfast wasn’t really as good as you would expect from such a hotel. Seems like they tried to combine elements from Western cuisine with the Indonesian, but without succcess. The hotel itself is also very noisy with rooms that are poorly insulated, making it hard to sleep. The location is ok, with a few restaurants and bars close by, but the «central» area of Sanur is a 2 km walk away. There’s also a beach almost next to the hotels.

Convenient, Stylish, Comfortable

I found Artotel Sanur on Facebook during Covid and decided I had to stay here on my next Bali trip, even though I normally stay in Seminyak. Pretty good value and I'd stay again. Pros: * Close to the airport. The Mandira Toll Road was only around Rp15,000 to use, but shaved 30 minutes off the trip. * Close to the beach and numerous eateries, yet still quiet. * Breakfast buffet was tasty and plenty of options, both Asian and Western. * Hotel team friendly and helpful. There was a problem with my door key reader, which was sorted out within 15 minutes. * Small balcony off the back ideal for drying swimwear or dive gear before flying home. * Gorgeous interior that felt more like a gallery than a hotel. Love the staircase! * Get a room at the back for stunning sunrise Mt Agung views. 😃 Opportunities: * Water refills given but you have to ask at reception or restaurant. Why not put dispensers on each floor to encourage water consumption and also avoid creating busy work for the restaurant team when we can self service? Especially when the team *were* busy during service, based on the backlog of empty glassware stacked on the service bar area. * Coffee pods and small toiletry bottles aren't eco friendly, but then drinking water is provided in reusable glass bottles. Not so eco friendly. * The rooftop pool doesn't have any shade. It is flaming hot up there. The upstairs bar didn't have water, I had to trek to the ground floor restaurant. Water and shade needed.
