Room was absolutely AMAZING for the price. Very impressed with the resort. Kind of a "hidden gem".

Nice place but disappointed w/ checkout policy

We really enjoyed it here. However what was really disappointing was the checkout time was at 10am. Our flight was at 8pm so we planned to hang out at pool for the day. We were told that we could not and basically had to be off the property at 10 as they didnt allow "day passes." I worked everyday that we were there and that was my only pool day. I would have never stayed there had I known that, as any other property always lets me use the facilities for the day. We stayed in town for a bit then changed out flight. The pullout bed is really, really uncomfortable. But the grounds are well kept and the staff was very, very kind.

Everything was great. Found the room to be very clean and grounds beautifully well kept. The rooms could use an upgrade, but while dated, still provides the comforts and amenities that you need. Any staff that we came into contact with were very friendly and accommodating. They were also wearing face masks and practicing safety measures for covid which I appreciate. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need to prep, cook, and dine in. Staff also installed propane tank for the grill on the patio which made for enjoyment of cool nights while grilling. Would definitely stay again and recommend anyone going to the area. Also offers fantastic location within walking distance to several shops, grocery stores, and dining.

The perfect rental

Our suite was enormous—an apartment or a casita rather than a hotel room—with two bathrooms, a full well-stocked kitchen, and a large patio plus bbq. It was also quiet and private. In the future, I will stay here when I visit the desert.

Wonderful stay at Desert Isle

My stay there was wonderful. From check in to check out. Hot water heater went out , made the call they came right up. Will try and stay there every time I got to palms springs

PROS: big and well kept room, balcony with BBQ grill, assigned parking spot, nice pool, steam shower CONS: racket court UNAVAILABLE, spas UNAVAILABLE, in-person check in only BEFORE 10PM On the 2nd day a maintenance guy came unannounced to our room to change the door lock and told me that I have to go to the front desk to get a new card key. No thanks, I told them to come back after our check out tomorrow. My wife then called the front desk and asked for the manager and this manager proceeded to tell her that “sometimes the business has to come first”. Huh?? WE are the business, and any maintenance work should be scheduled when the room is vacant. She said that the guys are only here today and they will be back soon "whether you like it or not". My wife asked her if she is serious and she bluntly said “yes”… She said “everybody else is OK with it so we thought you are fine, too.” And this “manager” hung up the phone. To say that we were upset is an understatement. But then they never came back to change the lock. So what was this then? 1) They made a mistake of not telling us of the scheduled maintenance work, 2) The front desk person as well as the “manager” were pretty rude to my wife on the phone, 3) They said that the lock replacement must be done that day but in the end it didn’t happen. What do we think of all this? Normal hotel staffs of ANY levels would NOT treat their guests this way. Maybe that's how timeshare company treats their guests. Very disappointed.

I loved Everything about our stay there.. We had guests and compliments all around.. What improvements i see is Adding a Standing Basketball Goal that could be pulled out onto the Tennis Courts.. Also add more Ice Machines..
