graduation gift
i took my daughter and her boyfriend as a last minute graduation gift- we had a nice relaxing time- we were able to check in a little early so that was great- we added an extra day and they allowed us to stay in the same room- my only real complaint is the pet fees- 40.00 a day for 2- 8 lb dogs is excessive to me- especially considering they are emotional support pets- but the pool was lovely as always- we have stayed there many times over the last 3 years- and the weather was perfect

It was okay
The AC does not get cold, the units are definitely to small for the room sizes. The rooms are huge and nice. Parking is a nightmare!! And we won't even talk about trying to leave the parking lot, ugggh.

Don’t do it!!!
We arrived early and could not do early check in, which I am glad it played out this way. We were given the code to the beach and Wi-Fi password so we could enjoy the beach till check in. No bathroom or changing room to change in so we had to change the kids in the parking lot. The pool was gross and it’s filtration system was not working. The balconies had black and green mold on them. 3:00 check in came and was told 3:10 and 3:30 was when our rooms would be cleaned and ready. We found out our room numbers and watched them quickly clean our room with one rag and a dirty mop. After we watched how they cleaned our room and how dirty the office room tables were we decided to take the loss in money and find a new hotel. There was not enough money in the world for us to stay there. With the place being beach front they could spend the money and fix this place up and use the correct actions to clean a room. Please do no trust the pictures. Just drive to the beach.

Good for a few nights
If you want an inexpensive room on the beach in a quiet area, which Daytona Beach Shores is, this is a good option. However it's an old hotel that hasn't been upgraded and has no charging stations for for modern devices. I don't like that at all. All hotels should have upgraded by now for modern technology, period. As far as view from my room, awesome! I had help with my bags, excellent! Pool was apart clean, and people that work there are super friendly. They are understaffed like a lot of places but over all I enjoyed my stay . One more thing, the slider door stuck due to not being cleaned out. If you updated your property with fresh paint, and new linens, surge protected charging stations, new shower curtains, and a good scrub down in each room , your ratings would go up. Friendly staff and good location isn't enough. Oh and the pillows are terrible. I would return on a short trip if the price is super cheap but not for a long stay.

It’s getting worse
I’ve stay at this hotel multiple times but this time was a little different. When I checked in the gave me a standard but I paid for efficiency. They switched without an issue, which was nice. But when I got to the room the paint was chipped off the ceiling and the roof was leaking. It was completely booked so could no longer switch rooms. My family also had another room and half their electricity didn’t work and a wall outlet shocked my friend. They will charge you for not cleaning dishes and won’t even give you a sponge to clean them with. The place is literally falling apart. I stay their because they’re not super strict about noise or swimming late at night.

Monday we didnt get breakfast as no one was in office until after 915 when we left for the morning. Later that day when we returned to get towels and more toliet paper she was rude about it.
