The room is quite small but overall acceptable.

We should have booked the hotel with breakfast but the host said there is none. It's wired and hope hotels.com can clarify on this. The host is overall responsible. It is kinda over price since it is a B&B but the price is 3-star hotel.

Our Family Roman vacation

Family vacation in Rome. Unit has a good location near Colosseum. Easy check-in, responsive owners, clean rooms and good air-conditioning. Overall a good value. Our only complaint is the bed mattresses are a bit firm. A mattress topper would help.

Our stay

The check in manager was very nice. The facilities stated it was looking at collesium and it was not our view was orher apartments windows. The office is in a different location and may have a better view of the collesium. If you are in bigger side the shower is really small. Bedrooms had split units but it was still hot for us. But at least they had that. Area is not so good. We were followed a few times by locals and we had to say something.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment while in Rome. It’s a very large apartment and was nice for our family of four to be able to spread out. The location is wonderful. Lots of restaurants in the area and a joy to walk out every day and see the Colosseum. It was great to have the Colosseum Metro stop right there and there’s also a taxi stand so no matter where we needed to go it was convenient. The only reason I knocked off a star is that there was a very strange funky smell in the apartment. It smelled like someone was roasting two pans of brussels sprouts all day long. When you were in the apartment for a while, you would get used to it, but when you would come in From a day of sightseeing, the smell would hit you hard. I believe it is a dry drain plumbing issue. I think they are aware of it because there are many gallons of air freshener in the closet with cleaning supplies, but they didn’t really seem to help. Overall, I would still stay here again, but I do feel that the smell issue needs to be noted.

Perfect for families

Great place to stay for a family. 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, pull out couch, kitchen, wash machine. No dryer, but racks to hang up to dry clothes. Great location about a 10-15 minute walk to Colosseum. Nice restaurants to walk to all around. Staff communicated well and was helpful.

It was perfect for our family of 5. We really enjoyed how it was quiet but also just a short walk to the colosseum. We loved walking around and enjoying all the different shops and restaurants! It was wonderful having a washing machine as well- it helped so much! Highly recommend!

Bait and Switch

Make sure you pay attention to the trap that myself and other clients have fallen into. When you look at the property online, the pictures are amazing and the description is excellent. Be aware that when you book, you get locked into a B&B room or apartment. When we checked into the apartment, it wasn’t what was pictured. Even the confirmation had a different address than was provided. The manager tries to add fees once we arrived which is not allowed by the Hotels/Expedia contract. I already know how the property manager will answer based upon similar reviews made by other clients. It really is false advertising. The manager and Hotels.com blamed each other. Wouldn’t have paid this much for this apartment if I knew what we were getting. We paid less per night for two rooms near the Vatican at Spring House, Hilton. I wish we would have stayed there and cancelled the apartment. Live and learn.

I really enjoyed this apartment! My dad had trouble walking to it with his bad hip but it was about an 8 min walk to the colosseum, forum, palatine hill, and train staion. The shower was a little small but overall i enjoyed it. I would stay here again!
