8/10 Very good

Great service provided by hotel staff

6/10 Good

It was what i needed

I believe that this hotel provides the service that we should expect for this type of venue. It is not a destination in itself, just a place to stay when perhaps on business or visiting nearby attractions. I have no complaints. It was what i needed at a good price and the bed was excellent.

6/10 Good

A bit disappointing

Not a good start, difficult to find the hotel as although it's just off the main A422 there was no lit signage and i ended up taking a 20mile detour. I phoned for advice but despite saying I would arrive in 5minutes there was no-one in reception and no call bell. I wandered around for nearly 15mins and was on the point of quitting when the lady I had spoken with appeared. I wasn't impressed by "I was cleaning the kitchen" and "the postcode doesn't always work". Things did improve. My room was comfortable but in need of some TLC, and it is a little noisy from the main road. But the bed was excellent. In the morning breakfast was eventually arranged and was good, cooked by what I gather is "the boss". Staff on morning duty were far more helpful and welcoming, and I left feeling a bit disappointed- not as relaxed as I would have hoped.

The Girl on reception was very helpful with local information, shops etc, plenty of free CARPARKING, for the price a nice hotel. I would definitely stay here again

Very dirty Hotel. I requested a non smoking room yet it smelt stale with cigarette ash on the floor. It had obviously not been cleaned since the last quests stayed

2/10 Poor

Disgusting and disappointing

It was so terrible, the frony desk were so confused and seemed to have no clue. They booked me into 3 rooms, though i only booked one. I webt down for breakfast at 9:30, only to be told breakfast finished at 9am and anyway they couldn't find my nane. The room was filthy as if it had never seen a hoover.

2/10 Poor

We arrived and first thing that we noticed was the room was not clean Pube hair in the bed and the shower and sink and there sounded like there was a rave going on upstairs went to complain about it they did something it stopped for about an hour then started again around 11 o'clock till about one would not stay at this place again.

First impressions last, it was like pulling up to an area in a 4th world country. Outdated chair in the room had no bad. Floors in public area. Tiles most broken or loose. The shower if i had a pop bottle and put 2 holes in the lid i would of had a better shower. No prrssure for the water. Carpets in the room was old looked as if the decor haded been updated since early 90's. The bar was used as a office.

Filthy inside. Grounds looked derelict outside. No systems in place. Chaotic. Dreadful. Never again.

Ok but wouldn’t stay again

Hotel was clean, but the shower didn’t work and there was no shower gel in the pump. No one was on reception to question when we went out. Wouldn’t stay again but ok for a pit stop

I'm sorry to say I've never seen anything quite like this place. It was utterly filthy throughout. How it still operates is beyond me. Expedia you should not advertise this 'hotel'!! DISGUSTING!

Run down room

This hotel was out dated and unkepted . The curtains barley fitted the window . The room smelt damp . Very basic old fashion place in the middle of nowhere. With no great facilities the toilet seat was broken . It was so bad we decided not to stay and continue our journey. We booked to have a stop off to rest and recover but never relaxed so we let .

8/10 Very good

Thr room was nive airy and the staff wemt above and beyound to be helpful the rooms were very quite even though they mere next to the main road Umfortunately the bathrooms were a bit tierd with black mould aroumd the bath and sloopy sealer work around the bath. The Outside area was unkept and unmowed? so it was not so pleasing to the eye on arrival The Hotel does not offer evening meals however take away menus and a local asian food resterant is next door

Be sure to check the map

Located right next to a busy road, but with nothing else around. The staff was friendly enough but I thought this place would be nicer than it was.

Hôtel très moyen

Il y a eu un probleme d'électricité. Une des lumières ne marchaient plus. La salle de bain était très vétuste.

Shabby not chique!

Third time of stayed here over the last year, each time I think it could be so much better it just needs some TLC! The rooms are a good side, but are very tired, the window frames were very dirty, kettle was dirty, marks on the walls and curtains had hooks missing. The bathroom had mould all around the bath, no shower gel, the towels smelt musty and the system made a terrible noise when flushed! During my 4 day stay the room wasn't vacuumed and the bathroom floor wasn't cleaned or the bin emptied. The weather was terrible, constantly rained, i came out early the 1st morning to find the area I had parked was flooded so I had the wade through inches of water to get into my car, I'm sure this could have been prevented by some maintainence to the drains. With a little attention and cleaning this could be a lovely hotel!

Smokers are welcome

To make it short, I would say that, even though not being a smoker, to spend night at this hotel you may prepare yourself for that, as the smoke gets conveniently delivered at your room through their very modern bathroom ventilation system!
