Awesome apartment, beautiful and spacious for a small group or family, so perfectly situated for everything to do and see in Tofino, and the Sound on one side and the beach on the other are just wonderful. The hosts are so lovely, really will only stay there next trips!

The Cedar room was perfect. Beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Enough space and bar ‘fridge, plates, silverware etc to organise a simple breakfast. Especially loved the guest deck with the gorgeous peaceful estuary views. We saw our first bear in the wild.. a distant moving black blob, but it was a bear! Jay generously provided binoculars for a possible future sighting but alas!

Fabulous couple of days staying here. Amazing location with incredible views over the estuary and mud flats. Sadly rained most of the time we were there so no bear sightings but plenty of other things to do in the area. Apartment was extremely comfortable and wished we had booked it for longer.

Nice accommodation. Liked how bikes were included and it was a very short easy ride to the beach. House was stalked with everything you need to cook and the hot tub is nice to relax in. The guest house is very close to permanent residents. Found the mornings were quite noisy.

We enjoyed our stay at the black bear guesthouse. We had the cedar room, beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean and well appointed. Great price for a visit in the off season. If you book the larger room, the hot tub looks good and is situated so as to give you some privacy from the main house.

Hassle free check in, adequate parking for a truck. Sat out on the chairs at low tide and watched a black bear forraging for food across the inlet. Very nice place!

The property was beautifully furnished and comfortable. Complementary teas and coffees were welcome and toiletries supplied were of premium quality. The property was conveniently located to explore Tofino and was a short walking distance from a beautiful shoreline. The owners wer friendly and helpful. As there are 2 properties on the same site, be careful to check which you have chosen and the facilities associated.

Beautiful guesthouse on a lovely families property. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome and given loads of great recommendations for the area. Property was nice, comfortable and warm and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the private deck was stunning! Would definitely book again

The suite we had was beautiful but small in the kitchen/eating area. This was not a problem for us as we were out a lot. The hosts are very welcoming and gave us great tips on where to go.

Super quiet and close to the beaches! I stayed in the Cedar Room, which is much bigger than the photos make it out to be. Bathroom was completely stocked, and the decor really added to the overall vibe of the place. For those who prefer not to pay for parking in Tofino or the beaches: the owner even has a selection of bikes that you're free to travel around with! 10/10 would stay again :)
