가격대비 무난한 호텔입니다. 가격 생각하면 크나큰 불만은 없지만 일단 창문이 없고요, 처음 화장실 이용하는데 여자 머리카락이 남아 있어서 청소에 대해서 의심을 갖게 되었습니다. 그리고 방음이 잘 안되는 거 같습니다.

Nice design. Very helpful and friendly staff. Have the basics like water refill, coffee machine, kettle, etc. Housekeeping does a good job. Only downside is that the rooms are not soundproof, so you may get some broad shouting at her man late at night or early morning. But since it's COVID there weren't that many guests so it has not been a huge problem.

I wasn't sure what to expect because of the price and general location. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The only slight problems were the bathroom smelled odd, and I saw some stains and hair on my bed. But it seemed clean, the facilities all worked, free water, convenient location, adequate space, good shampoo and body wash, and the lady working that day seemed kind! :)

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel 8 Hours. Water bottles are replenished in the fridge every day, and a hot and cold water dispenser is also available at the lounge area, along with snacks if you're feeling a bit peckish. The room was clean and minimalistic, and has everything you could possibly need. The location of the hotel is also great, just around 10-15 mins walk away from Myeongdong, which is near enough, yet not so close that it gets too noisy.

Beware that if you book here you might suddenly get kicked out. Imagine that you are checked into your room, unpacked, and are asked to move out the next day. Especially visiting a foreign country where you are supposed to be enjoying a vacation this is a disaster. I had no calling or SMS in Japan so it was difficult trying to seek help or find another place to stay. This is a likely scenario if you stay here. I would avoid it at all costs. Besides suddenly being kicked out onto the street and needing to find a new place there are two other concerns I would like to address. First of all safety, the place is located in a dark alley off the main road so coming back at night is a safety concern. Second the WiFi is VERY POOR and constantly drops connection. There were many logging in issues and often times there was no internet convection even if you managed to connect to the WiFi. The internet is beyond slow and the signal is weak. Dare I say dial up would be faster. I’m not kidding. Lastly, the room can be quite loud. I could hear people going up and down the stairs throughout the day and night. You can also hear the people above you. Stairs also get wet and slippery. This is especially dangerous for children or elderly but is also a concern for adults.

A decent stay with nice decor

Overall quite pleasant, although one of the male staff was pretty unhelpful. The housekeeping mostly is for the bathroom, as throughout our stay of 8 days and 7 night, the beds were only made once after a week had passed. The partition between the shower and the toilet is fairly translucent as it is made of frosted glass. Fortunately it was just three girls sharing the room, I can imagine it would be highly horrifying if the room was shared between a group with different genders. The laundry service is free, and the hotel provides laundry powder. While there is no breakfast provided, the hotel does provide cup noodles and chopsticks, and there is a microwave in the common area for guests to heat up the food bought from the various convenience stores located downstairs. While we would come back for a short stay due to its highly convenient location, I would consider another hotel for a stay longer than a week.

가성비 좋고 깔끔한 숙소

싼 가격에 좋고 깔끔한 숙소를 잘 이용했습니다. 방음이 잘 되지 않는 구조이고, 건물이 촘촘히 붙어 있는 곳이라 뷰는 없습니다만, 순수하게 자고 씻을 용도면 인근 모텔 이상의 가치는 충분히 한다고 생각합니다. 저는 다시 올 의향 있습니다.
