It's difficult to give a like to this property more of it barely acceptable. But if you need a place to stay and then get on your way it's okay for that.

Beth was the front desk clerk, she said she didn't know how to get the parts and I should drink the coffee provided or wait until housekeeping arrived at 7:00am I explained due to health issues I can only drink certain coffee. She said she would look in the locker or utility room for a replacement, which she did. When she brought it up to it was dirty and had molded coffee grinds in it. I called back and gave it back to her, she was unapologetic and stated she would send someone from housekeeping up at 7:00. I eventually found the very small pieces in the still loaded dishwasher! Housekeeping never came up. I was sooo upset, I refused to stay there another night. I could wait to leave. I come up to York often for business and will never stay there again. The personnel was very kind, including the maintenance team. However, the building is like falling apart. My shower was low-level third-world rate. Renovations are in order.

Close to train tracks. It is very loud at night. Don’t have extra bedding or blankets. Appliances don’t work. Not clean. Smoke smell in elevators and halls.

Hotel itself is nice. People who may or may not work there kept coming in all night slamming the back door,, Im sure it keeps every one up one the first floor. Strange people should be hanging around for hrs doing nothing.

Upon arrival of the property it attractive. Check in did not go smoothly. The gentleman at the front desk seemed new(which we understood and was patient )however he asked for my CC to authorize payment which had already been authorized. Therefore, doubling the charges. Next morning I notified management who we thought rectified the issue but created two additional charges on my debit card. Luckily we had the funds to cover all of these transaction. But this experience was less than stellar. I would recommend more training for employees when handling people's money.

When I was checking in, three times the door key didn't work. Then I was given a room in which the airconditioner didn't work. (Blasted all the time, I had to unplug it.) Finally, in the morning the coffee pot didn't work. The people were pleasant but it is clear there is substantial deferred maintenance. I would not go back.
