Not what we expected. I reserved a cabin by the water as per the confirmation and photo that was included with the confirmation. We were given an apartment about .2 km from the cabins.

We loved the cabins. The views from the front deck were beautiful. The cabin were quite cute inside. The bed seemed a little bit small but we managed just fine.
Peter, 2-night trip

Nice place, it dates to the 70’s!
David, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Be careful folks. These people are incompetent. Dishonest or both. We booked a cabin, When we got there there were none available. They offered us a room and their son's home in a in a neighborhood a few miles away. We decided to go somewhere else instead. When we tried to get our money back from hotels dot com , they told them we were no show. Luckily we had pictures to prove otherwise. If this happens to you, it could ruin your holiday.Be careful Go somewhere else.
Denis, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The check in was great with lots of answers about what to see and places to eat in the community. We enjoyed looking out the front window to watch the ice bergs sail by and the ingenuity of the seagulls find their supper. The viking historic site is a short drive away. Checkout was smooth and simple
Charles, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Beautiful view of ocean. Comfortable beds. Had unit with full kitchen and even washer and dryer. Wifi was pretty much unusable.
Stephen, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Check in was easy enough. Location good and community firepit a bonus. Cabins are in need of some general sprucing up. Couch vinyl was peeling and a smoke detector missing.
Lee-Ann, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Liked the cabin, unique setting. Dryer had no heat and shower sprayed outside the tub then shower rod fell down
Vickie, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

ferry arrived 1 1/2 hours late - so it was late check in for us. note was on the door, key was in the cabin, Cabin was clean and quite - everything you need
Adam, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

-- The ventilator above the stove did not work, which caused the fire alarm to go off when cooking. the light in the bedroom did not work too many mosquitoes in the room despite the fly screen Balcony in front of the house with a view of the sea
Ernst-Jörg, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

We had booked our stay several weeks in advance, but a few hours before we were due to arrive, we received a text saying that they had overbooked the cabins and arranged for us to have a room at their other property, The Viking Lodge. We drove there instead, but were extremely disappointed. This was a motel that has 2.5 stars, not the 4.5 star cabin we had booked. The room was dark and the bed unmade. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was not an acceptable substitution. It wasn't even the king bed we had reserved. Since everything happened so last minute, we were forced to drive the 3.5 hours back down to Rocky Harbour for the night. This was so extremely disappointing.
