Good price,nice staff ,great location

The accommodation is fantastic and the rooms are big and comfortable. There's free onsite parking and the River restaurant is nice and cosy with an old historic feeling inside. Only stayed for a night. The location is at the corner of the townsite.

Stayed here on business for 4 nights. The rooms are a little outdated but clean and very spacious. The only thing I could say in a negative manner was the mattress needing replacing. I ate here and had some terrific meals and lovely beers. A big thumbs up to the chefs and bar staff, every night here, the dining was very pleasant.

It was grand! Luxurious accommodation after a great meal and perfect evening of music from The Waifs.

Drove me insane. Expected a ‘resort’. Really was just a pub w rooms. My room must have been directly above a speaker from the pub below, drove me mad. Wanted to getaway for a little peace but it was the worst experience I’ve had in a while.

We paid good money and got a disabled room in the bathroom there was no toilet seat lid disgusting, the shower curtain was too high so water was all over the floor and wet all day and the room was noisy from traffic. The motel is nice and the staff are excellent but there was nowhere to sit near the room so we had to sit in the car park. On a brighter note the motel is positioned very well.

I liked the comfortable bed and tea/coffee facilities. I didn't like that the spa wasn't working. (But we were pre-warned about this at check-in... we were unable to take our original booked room because it had stairs and I was unable to maneuver stairs.)

Stayed in a chalet and loved the experience. Roomy, cosy and well appointed. Hotel also has a bar and restaurant on site which was excellent, with an old school European feel. Loved it.

Everything was great. Enjoyed the stay. Would like to see better/softer toilet rolls next time😊
