Old motel however the room was very clean and provided plenty of toiletries and a great shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Cleaning staff were very nice and helpful. It was in a good location and you could walk to shops and clubs if you wanted to.

The owners were super friendly and helpful. We had rolling power blackouts through my stay but their attitude and willingness to help made it a very enjoyable stay.

Super helpful when passing through and needing a last minute place to stay with our fur baby. Staff were so polite! Conveniently located spot.

At check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to have been given an upgrade to a King-bed room with blockout shutters. The room was excellent, clean, spacious and had everything we could need. The bed was very comfortable and, with the benefit of the blockout shutters, the room had very little light overnight, ensuring we enjoyed an undisturbed good night’s sleep.

Really dated, outdone areas untidy but the big problem was that there the smoke alarm in our room had been disarmed and would not have worked if needed, I attempted to speak to staff prior to leaving but rhe office was unattended.

Our stay at the Desert Sand Motor Inn was great. The rooms and beds were very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this Motel.

The room was very poor standard for the price. Pillows were old, smelly and not comfortable. Smoke detector not connected. Air conditioner did not work. No screen on the bathroom window and the list goes on.

Your description of the property states that is adjoining the Southern Cross Resort with dining and bar facilities. This was the main reason for choosing Desert Sand. The Southern Cross Resort has been closed for some years. Very disappointed
