Even though they were modern, clean and in a good location, I would definitely not recommend these apartments.
So many issues. Before our stay, they never replied to messages. Then, they had a convoluted, precheck-in procedure. They told me I had to provide a credit card as a deposit. Fine, even though it was already provided to Hotels.com, but I had to provide it on the day of check-in, after 1pm. As an international visitor, this meant finding wifi while traveling to Liverpool.
Although the apartment is renovated and looks modern, it was done cheaply with no thought of travelers. A table instead of dresser with drawers for clothes. A shower stall with no shelf to put even a tiny bottle of shampoo. There were many other examples.
I believe they do warn you that there's no lift, but the stairs are very tight and steep.
Look for someplace else.
